The best things come to those who wait

Liv, about a million years ago, when I was a kid like you, there was a commercial about how it took a long time for ketchup to come out of a glass bottle.

It took a very very very long time. This was before squeeze bottles.

People waited because if you rushed the ketchup out it made a mess.

It was a delicious, red, and sticky mess that soaked French fries for the kids. It was really annoying to the parents.

But if you skipped the ketchup, then you skipped on something really great.

It’s almost 10 p.m., and you haven’t moved very much in the past 12 hours, but we are so happy to be here. We would not dream about missing out on something this great.

Also, it’s been a long day, and I’m starting to realize that a ketchup bottle probably wasn’t the best analogy.

Tired and sleepy. Not a squeeze bottle
