Actually it is not a glimmer. Liv, this week you had a clogged tear duct or a mild eye infection. We really aren’t sure.
Someone told me that sometimes breast milk clears it up…So I washed out your eye with your breakfast. You were very confused by that, but it did the trick for a while.
The problem is that it came back.
Fortunately for you, today was your scheduled appointment with the pediatrician. Unfortunately for me, I kept unintentionally referring to them as the “veterinarian.”
Anyway, you’re in good health and they prescribed some antibiotics for your eyeball.
While we were at the veterinarian’s office we had to change your diaper. When I pulled the pampers out of your mom’s bag I noticed there was some glitter residue from a gift your mom got this week.
It was impossible to clean off. Instantly I was struck with a real fear.
One day you’re going to discover glitter. As incredible and marvelous as that may be for you it’s going to be equally catastrophically monumental for me.
